Chinese Ornamental Antique by ~ViraA is a great example what a 3D artist can do with a purchased model when it comes to lighting and rendering. The artist here focused on realism and accurate presentation of the model which accomplished so well that it looks like a photograph. Enjoy and visit the artist's gallery for more!

Description
Hey There
**addition** I notice some people have commented that the model isn't mine, well they are correct it isnt - it was purchased by me from Evermotion.
I must stress that this is not an apology as I did not intimate that the modelling was my own in the original Artists Comments. I have always been honest and courteous when using other peoples models/meshes regarding giving author credit.
But, if I purchase a model like on this occasion, then I really feel that I do not have to indicate this
What is my own :
Cinema 4D scene build (backdrop is my own modelling), conversion of displacement and normal maps, shader and lighting setup **addition**
This is a native Cinema 4D R11 render only utilising:
Global Illumination
Ambient Occlusion
HDRI (reflections only)
Materials are a mixture of SLA procedural shaders and UV maps, using displacement for the fine details
Render time approximately 8 mins on dual quad-core machine
You can see a 'clay' render without materials or displacement here
Thanks for viewing and commenting
